Classification: Skeneidae
Description: Height 0.85-2.2 mm, turbiniform, narrowly umbilicate. Protoconch with sculpture of very fine anastomosing ridges; teleoconch whorls convex, sculptured with spiral cords or lirae, microsculpture of minute, irregular granules. Aperture circular, peristome continuous in some species, interrupted in others; outer lip with low, rounded varix slightly behind front edge.
Comparison: Species of Lissotesta Iredale, 1915 are of similar shape to those of Lissotestella, but are smooth or have a few weak spirals in the umbilicus, and lack a varix on the outer lip.
Distribution: Kaiatan?, Otaian-Recent, New Zealand, from inner shelf to upper slope.
