Synonymy: 1961, N.Z. Geol. Surv. paleont. bull. 34: 107, pl. 16, fig. 350, 351, 356.

Description: Distinguished by the broad, flattened heavily perforate test, ventral side flattened and weakly concave, dorsal side weakly convex with strong recurved limbate sutures. Residual apertural tooth plates extend into the umbilicus; aperature a low simple basalt slit.

Distribution: Upper Whaingaroan? Duntroonian to Waiauan.
